Technovation 2009 was taken way beyond its line of success by the overwhelming response of students from over 300 colleges.

Cherishing this very ideal, Techfest 2010 invites one and all to Asia's Largest Technology Extravaganza in the spirit of unleashing the future from the bonds of global problems - right from global warming and pollution to racism and hatred. Techfest 2010 is all set to unravel the mysteries of the past, work on the present and unleash the future through its series of initiatives.

One of the major focuses of Techfest has been the spread of science and technology. Competitions have served as the backbone for this purpose. Competitions as a part of Techfest 2009 saw a participation of over 15,000, comprising some of the best Indian as well as international students.

In January 2010, the campus of IIT Bombay will serve as the battleground for a 3 day face-off between some of the brightest minds in the world. With the fields for competitions this year ranging from sustainability and design to various forms of robotics to events based on pure sciences, Techfest has something in store for everyone.
